Let your records shine! Mastering is the final step in your recording process, and we use analog processing to add loudness and punchiness to your track. It's the ultimate polish for your records. We offer both classic stereo and stem mastering. The price includes two revisions. Should you need more, there is a small fee for additional revisions. It is always more convenient to master an entire record; therefore, we offer a special discounted rate for full albums. Single tracks cost a bit more but are still very reasonably priced. Please note that mastering cannot salvage poorly recorded tracks and bad mixes. If your mix is already poor, do not expect it to be saved by mastering! However, we can still fix that for you. Detailed information below in paragraph 4.
Mixing is an art, and we love that! Send us your tracks and let us mix them. We will run them through analog devices such as compressors, EQs, sonic exciters, and sum them through an A-Class high voltage analog summing mixer. Your records can benefit from a realistic 3D sound image and nice instrument separation, which digital summing cannot deliver. Analog mixing will add warmth and pleasant sonic distortion to your tracks. The price includes two revisions, and there’s a special package available when mastering with us. Please note that poor recordings lead to poorly sounding mixes. As already mentioned, there is a solution for that!
Our RS Mastering Studio is part of the River Sound Recording Studio, featuring an air-conditioned recording room. You can benefit from a large selection of microphones, high-quality preamps, and a friendly atmosphere. We are also at your disposal for producing and session playing. We can work as a team, or you can hire one of us for your projects.
If you are not happy with the sound of your tracks, or if you want to record your music at home but achieve a professional sound, you can send us your DI tracks. We will reamp them through real amplifiers and speakers, and record them using high-quality preamps and EQs. We have some vintage Marshalls, Engls, 5150s, and other goodies. If you need help with your drums, we can reprogram them and add better sounding samples, sample already recorded analog drums, and fix any issues if needed.
